Waooo. Im having a ball! Met some bladers last night, went out for a few drinks. Just have to try the local beers everywhere I go.
Then we were chillin at Divi's place. He has a fish farm in his garden...
These ppl showed a good example what real rollerbladers are like. Everyone was so welcoming! Really enjoyed spending time with them.
Hope I will see you all in England very soon! Thanx
Off to Istanbul, 12 hours journey ahead of me.
Please note since I hv not got any response from Tessaloniki, n ppl really want me to stay here, since we couldn't catch up yesterday, i will be dropping the Tessaloniki stop, and skate the streets of Skopje today. Will do an extra country instead, but let it be a surprise.

Belgrad, Skopje 11/09/2010

All it does is rain. But my prayers have been answered.
By the time i get to the parks it normally stops!
My suitcase had a day off today, howerver it used to this weather, i very much fear for its wheels!
We tried our best to dry  the place up in Belgrad. Locals were very  enthusiastic. Since they dont hv an indoor place to go, willing to skate the wet park.
Its the same in Skopje.
..You must know BORAT, firstly i felt like i was taking part of it. When i went to this fast food restaurant n asked for somthing nice, have to add i was well prepared with pen n paper to draw things to ease communication, this guy pulled out a whole  frozen chicken, n ohter pork bits from the freezer to show whats on the menu. Unbelievable! I think this place is unique in its own way, different, thats why i like it, will come back for sure even though my first impression advises me otherwise.
I do appologize to those who were waiting for me at this stop.
I guess i went to the wrong park. I showed the address to the taxi driver n i was taken to a place where i could only see goats, tractors n more goats. After asking millions of ppl i found this park, in Karpos where i was skating all day with bikers. There i was told that bladers go to another place. Not surprised, these pools might only be good for swimming. I feel so sorry i wasn`t at the right place, I was looking forward to skating with them! I d really like to stay longer, but hv to get going. If anyone can please join me to Tessaloniki.
Other than skating I had a chance to see a Dali exhibition in Belgrad and visit Mother Teresa museum in Skopje which u should not miss if u around.

Tessaloniki 17/08/2009

Hopped back on a train and headed another couple of hours east to Tessaloniki. Should hv reserved a place..
Covered in sweat and exhausted after the train ride.
Headed to town. Ppl very kind here, if u ask something they start a conversation, like in Athen i was asking for direction n they were taking me there. Visited all the churches around, was kicked out from one wearing my hat. Ridicolous. Never seen this many cats in my life before... Whats going on here... Anyway its a rather small city , a must see historical sight including the White tower which was obviously closed today..
Then just started out the rutin.. Had a skate at the port then was off to the beach which wasn`t so brill. In fact it was dirty. Was up for a swim anyway.Had an arguement with a man who not liked the idea of me washing my hair under the shower. I won. My hair was filty, muddy, decorated with leaves and who knows what just looked like a proper indian after a heavy rain.Dried up in a min, back on track. Went to the Archology museum! Spent hours there...
Such a culture oriented trip!

Then back at the station where the most random thing happened to me in my life.I bumped into the guy who robbed me out couple of days ago back in Patros on the ferry. This is just freaking. I just constantly frozed down, tried to pretend i wasn`t even there. Nut really succeded. My ice cream fell out of my hand and landed on someone elses shoes. That was just one more reason to run, rushed up to the nearest securtity immediately, who weren`t understand a word. Told me to go to the police. Seriously he was just staring at me.
So off to the police, started telling them the whole story, just took me ages. Hectic exchange in sign language.. Happened to hv a pic of the guy on my laptop, and it turned out they after this guy anyway. Went out searching this man around the station, because that was the only area they dealt with.
No sign of him.

Within an hour a whole wagon of officers came they locked up the station,
we got a plan. I was a bit concerned he would take the same train as me.
So before departuring we all set up. I hv met a guy earlier who must hv thought im a drogdealer whos just been caught.. Grr.. all this excitement and stress plus the heat ate all my energies away So just was about to get some drink, when a police drag my arm behind pulling me with him. They caught the guy, who was sitting in the office, all waiting for me to comfirm he was the one. They took him, and locked him. Couldn`t finish the paperwork though because my train was leaving. After climbing millions of stairs had to find out it was full, the one to Istanbul , i wasn`t allowed on. Heartbroken.

Found a praying corner downstairs, spent some time there.
Recharged my batteries there.
Met a guy from South Africa who was interrailing too. Was after some kinda festival , but would move on since its all over. We decided to go where the next international overnight train goes. N that was...
