I hv built this wall around me long long time ago, but someone managed to climb it over; only just to break my heart and see if I can really Be high when I`m down. If thats not enough, my face is damaged severly too, due to an accident while skating. Love hurts! “The greater your capacity to love, the greater your capacity to feel the pain.” How very true!
Feel like I was hit by a truck. It will heal I`m sure, but not all scars show, the ones that hurt the most are the ones within. Back to where I began, all on my own. Just wondering when will I be free again, free from the pictures in my head of your cold-hearted smile. But just grin and bear, whats important is that we choose to stand up after all the difficulties in life.

Ain`t got time to Blog.. Way too busy.
Here is a fun edit from the weekend.
Be well,

You can still donate if u haven`t done it yet!
All the money raised from the event itself goes to the Christie charity.
Every penny. Some money were transferred straight to the charity, some through my website, also received some via sponsorship forms (flyers hv been put up at different palces) and still counting the money from the charity box which accompanied me on my travels. It`s quite a challenge, since it contains at least 10 currencies.

Considering that people easily raise thousands of pounds by just getting their head shaved, (which was on my mind too)
I didn`t do that well, even if I was on the road for a whole month skating everyday. Hoped to raise more.
I suppose it wasn`t just up to me.
Skating, travelling, designing-organizing the tour by myself took up most of my time and effort, guess I should hv really contact more, n payed more attention to spreading the word.
Raising money was the hardest part of this project for sure.

On a different note I hv received a lot of help, rollerbladers, bikers, skateboarders, longboarders, you name them were ever so supportive mostly everywhere! Without them would hv been hard to make this come true. I want to big up everyone who has shown me support over the past month! Let this be a message, an example to follow, hope I will see more events like this!Im now getting back to normal, which is pretty much the same, but with more work, back in Uni, therefore less skating Im affraid.

But yeah, the journey never ends!
One path ends, another begins: one door closes, another opens.
You reach a peak; a higher peak is always there.
Im trying to think up ways to raise more money for Cancer Research. So yeah come back to check the site every now n then, I might come up with something again.

Other then that if anyone up for a skate, just drop me a line. Those who hv my number its still the same. Don’t matter where u from, all I need is a place to sleep n donation to the charity n I`ll be there tomorrow.
Also all is welcome here in Manchester!

Catch u later.

Manchester 04/10/2010

Finally got back to MCR. It was a great fun to skate the local park!
So many kids around. Many were full of CURIOSITY. Absolute the best. It really put a smile on my face, which I was wearing & along with my skates all day long.

So what better way to celebrate my arrival than with a beer..
..Solo So High, alone with my suitcase?

London 02/10/2010

I was late as always, arriving back to the Uk. I think I was born with this special ability. But again it wasn`t only down to me. It started all in Holland.
I took the wrong train, certainly learnt , shouldn`t ask someone for infos who ain`t got a clue. I was back in Brussel. My ticket was all sorted, booked the day before, the plan was to go to London by train through the tunnel. Somehow it all fell behind the desk at the ticket office where I went for some assistance. We removed the computer, but could not hv access to it. I couldn`t pay for it again since it was way too expensive. Also I was already late, had to find out something quick.I caught a train to Lille, then went to Calais to catch a ferry, then another train from Dover to London.

I arrived at 6 instead 2. N no way I could be in MCR at 7.
I was desperate. Really wanted to catch up with those guyz. Having no phone or laptop on me, could not let anyone know. Anyway Im sure there were people who made it there, and with or without me were skating for the cure, and that’s what really matters. English never let me down. Still managed to meet some bladers, didn`t know anyone though, and don`t think they had a clue why I was there but all of them were so supportive. Everybody knows that English people are the most friendly and welcoming people in the world. Some skaters from Oxford decided to join me to Manchester. They liked the idea of skating at Ukskate park, since they hv never been there, and I was pleased too that in the mean time they gave me a lift. We got here early in the morning, now just staying at mine. One of them managed to lock himself in my bathroom, and has been there for an hour now. We are trying our best but he is not too keen to climb. As soon as he is out, we r gonna hit the park!

Be there!

These past few days really pushed me to the limit. My case is injured, hv to drag it behind everywhere I go. I mean in the cold, in the dark, in the rain, on the high way, up on the stairs.. Had to make a real effort to get out of this fine.

Last night I arrived in Rotterdam, nothing was arranged, but much to my surprise someone was waiting for me. I must say he was a real godsent. Went to his place, as it turned out I was welcomed by the famous moustache crue from Summerclash.. These guys are awesome, I mean really. Nigetty  painted a pic of the tour, gave me a very special bracelet with the pink ribbon on it, which he was wearing too. I had to fight back my tears, this is the best experience ever!!! We were then watching some videos they made couple of years ago.

Next day i was hanging out with some crazy dutch riders, ppl here r very funny and friendly, and the lifestyle in Rotterdam is so easygoing.
We had a session at the local skate plaza after the rain had stopped.

I was on the road all day. Wish i had skated a lot more during this tour. It sucks that travelling is taking up the majority of my time. U know its very hard travelling long hours to get to a spot to be able to skate a tiny bit. My heart was broken when i had to leave certain places, because i really could not hv enough of them. Well I was in Brussels by 5 yesterday.
I was so very exhausted.

"Hi girl, all the scene will be glad to welcome you in Brussels, your trip looks magic, if you need any help we ll meet you at the skatepark for sure.
See you, good luck and keep on enjoying travels.
Rémy."
Thanx to all the local skaters who made it there.
Except the glasses which cut up all my hand had a good time.
Arriving late in Hamburg. Kept on missing connections.
Didnt make it to 6. Was there about 9, appearently the park moved. I made a hurrendous roundabout in town. The park shut at 8, but the outdoor place was luckily open. Had an hour long session in the dark.
I could hear some odd noises coming from the bushes which really crept up on me and made me wanna leave.
Back in Denmark I headed to Rosklide after a quick stroll around Coppenhagen. I was walking hours with my broken case. I felt so lost like never before. I couldn't even hazard a guess where i was or whats next.
It was time to have a word with myself. I remembered 'God never gives us a burden that is too heavy to carry.' It was forever on my grandma`s lips, and I was muttering it under my breath all day. Ok maybe sweared a bit too. My mind was fixed on this thought and led me to chuck some of my stuff out. Gave away my clothes. My immediate priority is completing  the tour. Have to travel light from now on.
My face was lighting up at the sight of the park.
I couldn`t be bothered taking photos there just wanted to skate.
Had no time to waste. And anyway none to ask.
I was here once but thanx to the festival was very crowded so couldn`t/ did not want to skate back then.
Now it was my turn, rolling solo, feeling so high!
This place rocks! Especially the Big ramp!!

Stockholm 26/09/2010

I hv a pretty long day behind. Mainly just travelling all day, then skating at the local park here in Stockholm. Sadly I don´t hv time to check the city out.
I would like to.
Im now staying with a skater I met at the park, who kindly offered a place for the night.
He is turned out to be designer too, so we hv a lot to chat about really, so glad I found him on my way, showed me so many cool stuff, his worx are amazing! I hv to get one of those graphics tablets, always ignored them, but now Im pretty much convinced its a must.
Both being night owls, still up and about, drawing, listening to some chilled music. Great way to recharge my batteries before another long day..

Berlin 25/09/2010

I know Berlin quite well. Always thought its special.
Go there a lot.
So no wasting time, looking for directions this time.
But I did get in trouble. Wouldn`t be me.

When I got to the Berlin skate Halle, realized I had at least 5 different currencies on me but no euro at all. And seemingly no money exchange office nearby. I had to explain it all, why Im there, what was happening. Asked them for help, to let me go in for free for an hour.
I was then told they r a private company, can`t support, they hv to earn money.
....
I was walking about randomly looking for something. Art pieces, objects, don’t really know what, it could be a tree, a bin, a hole in somewhere just felt a sudden urge to skate something. Especially here in Berlin, could look good, its so very arty everywhere.
I was watching some guy painting "the wall” when I happened to find this place, the african paradise in the city.
They had a half pipe too. There I found the thing was looking for all day. When I saw this thing buried in the ground suddenly saw a visual picture of me doing a stall on the top while spinning its wheel. It feels so good to make it happen. There`s no limits to where your imagination can take you.
Was just messing really, but it was fun! I`m lucky to meet those boarders who helped me a great deal. I thought they would laugh n leave, but again, made a bunch of new friends!

Oslo 25/09/2010

I flew into the busy capital, Oslo, and enjoyed a day there before leaving for Stockholm.

First thing on my mind was borrowing a coat from someone.
I hv packed out, now wearing nearly all what my case got, looking like an idiot. Only 3 ppl wanted to buy heroin from me, so must be very bad or this is just normal.
Have I mentioned it rains as well?
The park I visited halfly situated under the bridge so was safe.
I loved it down there, it was really my kinda place.
Only met some kids, who were borrowing my skates n gave it a go.

When I finished skating I was keen to generate heat and light somehow. Nothing warms the soul like a bright crackling fire!
A night spent under the moon and the stars sitting around and relaxing in the peaceful glow of the camp fire, drinking a nice beverage, killing time reading a novel is the perfect ending of the day.

It is really true, what`s meant to be will always find a way to come about.
As it turned out later the ones who offered help in Poland couldn’t make it either. This accident on the road happened for a reason, so that I could be in Wien, and find the most magical place ever in Europe. I arrived in Austria very late due to missing connections. Didn’t go skating in the dark, decided to take a train to Bratislava and spend the night there. I did show up at the Hutteldorf park at 6 in Wien, but in the morning. I went back on the following day.
I planned to skate an hour till the sun rose, but enjoyed myself so much just forgot about time, it was 10 when I realized I should really go, if I wanna reach Prague in the afternoon. I do suggest u to go visit this place, its near the train station, so easy to get there. The bowls are so fast and smooth. You will be amazed! Bring a tent, I say. Ohh yeah, the park only opens at 8, but u can always climb, it worth going earlier, since its very popular daytime… I had met some long boarders just before I left. Thanx for helping me with the pics.

Same day, 6 o`clock session, Prague. Made it.

This park in Strasnise has so much to offer. First of all the biggest playground I hv ever been. After I had explored everything here, went to the other one, the actual skatepark, and played around there too. The child in me was so overjoyed.

Met some old school skaters, we were hanging out all night in the park. They made me drink some popular chez specialties like hot rum with lemon, hot wine with cinnamon, green liquor. Having said its gud for my flue, I was happy to experiment, however the expression on my face was telling opposite.

More long boarders I met, among a designer who does it strightly for fun. So tested his board, quite liked it, so did my suitcase! Mattias offered me a place to sleep, and was eagerly carrying my case all the way. I was introduced to the chez rollerblading scene. We were watching those videos they made 10-15 years ago. Thanks for sharing.

Next day, 6 in the morning again, up on my feet, ready for the next one.
